I was taken here by ambulance with the most awful pain in my chest. After being seen by a doctor in emergency A&E, I was given a blood test which showed I had sepsis. Because it was detected so quickly, I was put on IV anti- biotics for 10 days. Even though it was 50/50 survival for me, St Mary's constant care and professionalism saved my life. I had never felt so cared for in my whole life. The way they looked after me was exemplary. Every single doctor, care worker and nurse looked after me like I was a member of their own family. God bless you St Mary's. Eternally grateful. I'm alive because of your dedication and duty of care. Was amazed about the smooth and fast handling of all the people who attended in these weeks for their vaccinations.
