People who have availed different services from John Radcliffe Hospital before shared their opinion - Theresa Chapman said,giving a rating of 3 out of 5, Due to Covid restrictions I was unable to attend the AAU Department on Sunday, 4 July with my elderly father and had to wait outside for him and had plenty of time to people watch. During this period of strict Covid restrictions I was very surprised to see in-patients able to come outside to meet up with family members without social distancing and then go back to the wards. There were patients walking around in their socks and one in-patient sitting around on the grass by the tree circle drinking out of a bottle covered over by a carrier bag (I made up my own mind about that). Why are patients allowed to do this when relatives are not allowed to accompany the elderly to their outpatient appointments?. It is so important for the elderly to have support at outpatient appointments. The toilets on Level 2 did not appear to be checked regularly. As people have to wait outside for their relatives attending out-patient appointments a few more benches would be welcome and more litter bins would hopefully help the litter situation. - Mas Hassan said,giving a rating of 5 out of 5, A great hospital with patient friendly staff and loads of facilities but it’s a struggle to find the car park space when you need it. However, if you have an early appointment staring at 8:40 am you have a better chance of finding a place.
